Have ankylosing spondylitis (autoimmune disease) and lots of new symptoms.
Mainly tingling feeling on my left side of my face, eye, cheek, head.
Brain fog
Fatigue
All the things that could be other stuff and I'm convinced I'm perimenopausall too.
It's the tingling face that frightens me most, it's new and I'm worried as it is a symptom of MS. Maybe they misdiagnosed me with AS?
I am waiting for an appt for a head mri but can't come soon enough.
Any thoughts please x

B12 is blood tests - there is info on here including a ticklist thing for symptoms

I'm diagnosed with fibromyalgia but I can't get any treatment for it - at least my B12 is being halfheartedly treated

There is no current treatment or cure for Fibro (I have it too), just to 'manage' the symptoms...

OP - it could be Fibro as that is linked to other conditions especially autoimmune conditions - it causes pain (can be in a random manner, all over the body) and exhaustion plus many other symptoms including tingling. The problem is that symptoms of Fibro are so similar to other conditions such as those mentioned for Coeliacs, RA... and it's difficult to pin down causes. I've had most of the drugs InfinitySeven mentioned but not all the tests as I don't fit certain conditions and I was diagnosed with Fibro by a rheumatologist after 3 years of trying to find a cause (& then promptly discharged, thankfully my GP is good). A friend with crohns has had a year of tests due to similar Fibro symptoms as me including tingling, numbness, brain fog, fatigue and she has just been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome. Is it worth asking your Rheumatologist is either could be a cause - even if just to try and rule them out (not easy as Fibro especially seems to be a bit of a 'catch all' conditon)?
