have had the twitch which affects the upperlid of my right eye for a few weeks but it wasn't that bad only noticed it when I yawned or got angry but since yesterday ive noticed it more
ive stood and looked at my eye in the mirror and I cant see anything wrong everything look normal its just really annoying as I feel as people can see it when it starts twitching and I feel like its closing but its not as ive actually stood there and seen it is there anything to help it ease off?

im thinking its down to stress and lack of sleep ive been having a lot of broken sleep lately

I had this and my doctor and optician said it was due to stress and tiredness. It went after a holiday.

I get this from time to time. It is down to stress and/or fatigue. Try to address the sleep issues. It is annoying.

Try taking a calcium supplement. If you google calcium and eye twitching you will see it suggested as a remedy. It worked for my partner within days!

I usually sleep right through the night but the past few weeks ive had a lot of broken sleep waking up early in morning but I drift back off no problem its driving me nuts as you think folk can see it or it feels worse than it is

I had one on an upper eyelid: it started the day I began a new job and pretty much lasted until the day I left that job (1 year!). It was stress, only ever get it now occasionally if I am agitated about something. Not sure what to suggest to help it as I couldn't get mine to stop at work. You could see mine fluttering slightly if you looked at the right time but I am sure no one noticed as it took me a while of peering closely to see it.

Eat bananas for potassium.

Works for me....although that may be the placebo effect!

When I had this (for reasons given above) GP suggested doing some rapid blinking with that eye, and I think it did help - didn't last long anyway.

It's usually from lack of sleep & stress. I've had it last a few days then it stops.
