How long does it take for a loose tooth to fall out?

I know it's probably out there in the archives somewhere but I can't find it.

Dd is ecstatic to have a wobbly tooth and is desperate for it to fall out - how long does it normally take?

And what's the going rate for the tooth fairy these days? Dd seems to think that it's a chocolate coin but apparently would be happy with either 20p or a five pound note ... hmmmm ...

God knows re time it takes. DD has had a wobbly tooth (wobbly from trauma, not just naturally working its way out iyswim) for months now. From what I remember it took about a day for the DSs to go from 'my tooth is wobbly' to 'oh!' (bloody stump in palm + gappy grin), but that's with almost constant twiddling !

Help, eh ?!

My 6 yr old has had a really wobbly tooth for about 2 weeks...won't come out. Tooth fairy going rate round here is £1. I also downloaded a freebie certificate off some american website for the first one but won't keep doing that.

Sorry WWB, but with my extensive experience of this matter, the answer is, as long as it takes. My boys have had wobbly teeth that have fallen out the day after they told me about them, and other wobbly teeth that stay in for weeks.

It is exciting, the first one, though. Your dd is only 5 isn't she? My ds's were 6-7 before they had a wobbly tooth and dd is 6 and hasn't had any yet (despite telling she has!)

If she gets whacked inthe face by a seesaw it'll fall out immediately

Other than that, "as long as it takes" is absolutelyright.

Mmm, I suspected that might be the case

Still no sign of it shifting ...
