17th day of being on my period

So I am on the 17th day of my period..

History is last couple of months, very on and off.

Sometimes on for a week, then off for afew days then back on for a couple of days.

Another month, only on for a couple of days and that's it.

This month, was only off two weeks and iv already been on for 17 days..

Has anyone got any idea??

I'm definitely not pregnant.
I'm not using any pills or anything like that
I am on 40mg of Citopram

Iv just started on TRANEXAMIC ACID 500 ml and MEFENAMIC Acid 500ML

Any ideas / Experience on how long it took for the bleeding to stop?

Hi Op. I had this and was either vaginal bacterial thing or was my thyroid. Don't know which is was because I was diagnosed with both at the same time. Took antibiotics for bacterial thing and obviously now on thyroxine. I have to say if I miss my thyroxine for a lengthy period (which I'm known for) my periods do go a bit crazy again. It's likely something easy to manage.

I have already got a under active thyroid
