White filling on NHS

I have a berry seed stuck in my molar which I tried to get it out. Now I'm left with a tiny black dot on my molar. I don't know if it's start of a decay or the seed still stuck there. So if I do need a filling, how much does it cost for a white filling? And can I get it on the NHS? Thanks.

PS. Any ideas how I can get the seed out just in case it is a seed.

My 22month old dd kicked my white filling out 2 weeks, the dentist said it would cost £180 to replace but I have no idea if it costs more or less to replace than having it done for the first time... so sorry not much help

When I was working I used to get white fillings as the sensation of the grey ones makes me feel a bit sick every time my tongue touches them.
I'm a SAHM now and have to have grey ones on the NHS as I can't afford the white ones privately.

Sadly, white ones unless they are at the front aren't available on the NHS. You can mix and match - NHS treatment but a white filling - prices will vary but could be around £70.00.

My white filling last year cost me £60 at NHS dentist (Scotland)
