Cerazette and side effects - any alternative pill good for pmt ?

My Gp thought cerazette might help my horrendous pmt and it has a bit, but I am not happy with the other side effects . I feel grumpier, sleep badly ( this is a problem I have sometimes anyway so am not sure it is totally due to the pill) have no sex drive and my hair is falling out
I have read the previous threads on cerazette and it does not seen to have been great for most people that posted.
I would really like to find a pill that would help my pmt , gp thought I should complete 3 months of cerazette and tbh I had not connected hair falling out with it, or moodiness which may be due to tiredness.

Anyone had a similar experience and can reccommend a different pill ? , hopefully with a good out come

Yasmin is apparently good for PMT.

I felt like hell on Cezarette. Also had bad acne, mood swings, constant bleeding and NO sex drive.

I take Yasmin

I get very very light periods
Barely any PMT (No greasy hair, yukky skin, mood swings - I do crave chocolate though!)
Have actually lost weight

I used to take Mycroglynon but it gave me headaches, bad skin and heavy periods with spotting inbetween sometimes and the doctor said it wasnt a very effective pill for me.

Oh and my sex drive is great

Don't think the combined pill is for you, given your age and smoking.

I can't take it myself as am 35 and have strong family history of hypertension and heart attack.
