Thyroid levels

I am on thyroxine 25 per day and on mon tsh was 2.4.
I am doing ivf on spray start injections wednesday.
The max the clinic wanted my tsh was 2.5 but annoyingly are not concerned about it being so close to this.
My level seems to be rising (from 1.8 in april to this 2.4 early aug) so will rise this month during ivf.
If they were to increase my dose to get it under 2 how much more would i have to take, im thinking 1-2 more 25 a week would make a difference
(as going up from 25 alt days to every day took me from 4 to 1.8)

The NICE Guidelines are quite clear that for TTC and PG your TSH needs to be under 2.

cks.nice.org.uk/hypothyroidism#!scenariorecommendation:7

I know what I would do in that situation, but I am now an old hand at thyroxine and have done a lot of research in the years since I became ill.

However, if you are doing IVF, bigger things are clearly at stake (I am past all that) and I think anyone on here could only advise you to talk to your IVF Team about this, referring to the guidelines I've linked to above.

You are on a tiny dose at the moment (only a quarter of the standard starting dose) and your TSH is still rising, so you should be having a full thryoid panel and a meds review anyway.

Speculating, I wonder how many women who fail to conceive or MC do so because of the way thyroid disease is treated in this country?

Thanks for the reply
I already took an extra 25 on fri but am thinking i will take another tues or wed
225 from 175 a week about a 20% increase... I dont want to go under 1 though
The gps arent interested and would be happy for me to be 4
I already had a failed attempt: 2 goodish embies , but my tsh had risen to 4.
The clinics realise its an issue so treat it but only to a minimum level (under 2.5)
The nurse told me i cant be having symptoms at 2.4.
Im going to say ill pay for a test when i go in on tues.
The gp refused to test antibodies. Im also paying as im supposed to only be on it temporarily and i was under 4.2 , so i would always be under with it keep getting worse like this im sure ill need to stay on it
Does thyroxine also have an immediate effect, that day as well as a longer term effect?

With the small dose im on surely im more likely to fluctuate as my thyroid is still working
