Oh god, yes! The attacks were bad, but the nausea was probably the worst bit. Throwing up into a dog poo bag in the middle of a crowd of Christmas shoppers was a particularly low point. Blush Wink

Also had loose stools - pretty normal. But if you have very pale stools, or dark urine (if you know you're hydrated), you ought to speak to your doctor... Those can be symptoms of impaired liver function.

Have you heard when you'll have the operation?

I had a scan in March which showed my stone ( I wasn't scanned for gallstones in particular)
I've had loose BM for a year now - I had a really bad D&V attack - thought it was 'one of those bugs going round' and it hasn't been right since.
Went to GPs a few times over the winter, eventually sent for scan in March as I was worried it was an Ovarian cyst (the pain was on my left, but I had some right sided pain too)

I was sent away with Buscopan and painkillers.
Saw the surgeon, had a colonoscopy (because I said I was still getting Left side pain)
One of the GPs said (after my most recent big attack) it was muscle pain.
Turned out to be colitis (so to say I'm bloody furious that I wasn't referred earlier is an understatement)

My diet is now extremely limited. Today , DH and I had a publunch. I thought "Bu**er it" and had a cheese (aggrevates the gallstone) on white bread (aggrevates my bowel) toastie.
I'm gripey now, but my bad. I've had no bread for 2 weeks.

Ooh and I've had ongoing back pain, so I've put up with alot of pain over the years.
But I think sometimes GPs don't look beyond one diagnosis. Like you can't possibly have 2 or more health issues .

Thanks, it's a v odd thing gallbladder pain. I was misdiagnosed as well with costs chondrites so its taken a while to get sorted.

I also have emmetophobia ( ridiculous fear of vomiting) so it's a double nightmare.
