Droopy eyelid after eye test :(

A few months back I had an eye test, it had to be repeated as the results were unclear so was a very long time.
No eye drops were used and I was given glasses to wear for focusing ( watching tv / driving )
As I came out of the optitian my husband noticed my right eye had dropped, probably half my eye was covered.
I panicked but thought it was a muscle spasm, it took 2 days to go completely back to normal although I felt ok in myself I have been having headaches for years ( had an MRI about 10 years ago due to them and they said nothing, probably migraines )
Worried now as have seen another thread on a different site where the lady had similar symptoms and it was a mini stroke!
Surely id have known?

Prob worth mentiong to your Gp.

I can't think what atcaneye test could cause it.

It can be caused by a nerve palsy but you would hvrvhadother symptoms

My gp is awful so I can't imagine them being concerned!
Surely I would have had other symptoms with a mini stroke though?
I thought it could just have been a muscle spasm caused by the eye test?

Hi Mixed up mind
A few years ago one morning I noticed that my right eye lid was slightly heavier than my right & I freaked out . Nobody had noticed it before but for some reason that morning I did. I immediately went to my local eye hospital as I too thought that I'd had a stroke although there was no other symptoms. The Dr examined it & said it was Ptosis (drooping of the eye lid) it's very common & people of all ages can get it.. I had a CT scan to check my sinuses that all came back clear he also took measurements & photos & advised that I leave well alone as it's only slight. However if it should get worse & effect my vision they can perform an op to tighten the muscles . Maybe go back to your optician hun it's probably nothing to worry about :)

Thankyou for your reply.
What's worrying me most is that it had completely gone away within 2 days, which is why I'm worrying it's a mini stroke as apparently the symptoms go away completely with those too?
I just think it would be a massive co incidence that i just happened to have a stroke whilst having an eye exam! Hich is why I always assumed it was a muscle reaction
