What is wrong with my boobs!

Ok

So I am 26, 3 dc, been on contraceptive injection just over a year

For the past few weeks my boobs gets tingly at times throughout the day often with little shooting pains too

No lumps or other changes

Could this just be a reaction to injection?

No because I think it's highly unlikely!

3 previous pregnancies, all with lots of sickness

Plus on injection and rarely dtd!

I have seen something somewhere online about different sensations in breasts as breast tissue changes and hardens with age. Anyone know about this? Would 26 be too young?

I think breast tissue changes from your 40's onwards. I get similar symptoms to what you are describe but I am a lot older than you and put it down to my erratic cycle!
Have you recently had an injection?

Mumof3xox · 01/08/2014 17:56

Last injection was end of May

I am due one soon, have been having these symptoms for at least 4-6 weeks

POAS. just to rule it out.

I got similar when (unexpectedly) pregnant.

Mumof3xox · 01/08/2014 20:46

Hmm

It just feels like a waste of money!

Was hopeful it would be a recognised side affect of the injection or to do with Age!

Hi mum, I would agree that it's extremely unlikely to be anything to do with ageing, bear in mind you might not hit the menopause for nearly 30 years! I think any natural changes don't usually happen until your 40s.

If you're really concerned about the tingling then I think the best thing you can do is visit your GP

Mumof3xox · 02/08/2014 08:12

Hmmm

I am going to rule out pregnancy, and then see a gp I think as I can't find an explanation!
