erm, sorry about this but need some advice.
last night i was having some problems inserting a tampon, so got a handheld mirror to check i was aiming right (after 12 years shouldnt have this problem) and noticed there is a lump protrouding out of my vagina, which wasnt there pre-kids. tampons havent been holding in as well as they used to since i had dd2 (9lb baby) and often feel uncomfortable down there. i have booked a gp's appointment for next week. i have no idea what it can be, it looks like things have fallen downwards and given in to gravity. i have always done my pelvic floor exercises, even more after having dd2 as she was large and was worried about becoming saggy and bladder problems, as my mum suffers stress incontinance.

It may be a prolapsed vagina.

if it is, what will they do? i have been doing pelvic floor exercises, so surely they cant expect me to do even more?

Sounds like prolapse to me... how many pelvic floor exercises do you do? Sorry to be so personal! But it's some very high frequency & duration, you're supposed to do to avoid/deal with prolapse. Both women I know who had prolapse (one was only age 34!) managed to solve the problem with more diligent Pelvic FEs.
