I'm hoping I've added the picture..it's a 'spot' on the back of my 4 year olds hand. She says it doesn't hurt at all. It's whitish but with a browny coloured spot right in the middle. I don't know exactly how long she's had it [badmother] but definitely over 2 weeks. Any ideas? I'm not worried, just wondering what it could be.

Do you get warts on the back of the hand? I thought they were just on fingers and palms for some reason but that would explain it! How on earth do you treat warts? Apart from with potatoes..

I think they can pop up anywhere, as they're just viral.

The treatment is probably 'ignore' unless it's hurting or inconvenient. I think often they will just go as mysteriously as they arrived.

Could be wrong but I think that the insidey bit is contagious, so it shouldn't be picked at.

Ah ok. Well we've not picked or prodded, she's not at all bothered by it so yes we'll carry on ignoring it unless anything changes. Thank you for replying despite my failed first few messages!
