M son is now 13 months & has 5 teeth already; however he's just started teething again & it's awful. He screams all the time, can't sleep & won't eat. His clothes & bedding are soaking wet from dribbling. We've tried Calpol & Ibruprofen but nothing really seems to work. Any tips?????

one of my friends swears by the homeopathic
teething granules from Boots, I can't remember the name but they are with the other teething products in most large boots stores.

Some of mine had a preference for cold metal. They have used keys to teethe on or spoons. Also found them biting down on the metal fastener on the pushchair. Other than that we used paracetamol. I think the homeopathic remedy is called Teetha. A friend said it worked for her baby.

Also does he use a dummy - my little boy has taken great comfort in his dummy during the day whilst teething and has gone back to using it only to go to sleep once the teeth were through

I swear by Ashton and Parsons teething powders, you just pour the sachet onto the little one's tongue (you can use a spoon) and it doesn't take long at all to take effect. I found it really helped with the upset tummies too. HTH
