Are you on the progestogen only pill cerazette? I have a few questions...

AF arrived today (7 days early wtf?!) and I need to make a decision!

Nurse doesn't recommend the combined pill for me as I'm over 35, bit nervous to start as I've only ever been on the combined pill (pre dc).

Few questions:
In your first month of taking it did you;

• have af?
• breakthrough bleed?
• breakout with spots?
• gain weight?
• have any other side effects? I.e cramping, bloating?

Has it also helped you with PMT symptoms?

I've been on this pill for 5 years now and would not change it. No side effects such as headache and weight gain at all. What I like about it is the fact that I have periods maybe once a quarter and they are very light and I am happy with that. Did go to nurse to discuss the alternatives as part of annual checks, but we both agreed this pill suit me best.

I have been on it for one week and my hair is falling out I am so worried and think I will just stop tomorrow I have also been moody and emotional and felt like a zombie. But I hope my hair comes back and doesn’t get worse if i stop taking it
