Long shot, any advice on how to save wobbly milk tooth in a soon to be teenager?

It seems like a bizarre question but DS is not going to get a second set of the secondary front teeth.

We have been extremely careful with the still present milk teeth, in the hope that they will fill the gap (avoiding the need for braces) or that they could be used as a base to mount a crown.

Yesterday one of them got wobbly, total drama as DS is afraid that means there's no way to avoid the braces or for him spending some years with an empty space in a very visible part of his mouth.

Any dentists that could offer some words of wisdom on how to save this tooth or some words to comfort a very self conscious boy who is about to start secondary school and is worried about his appearance?

Are you sure there is no tooth under that particular tooth? It's usually only a few that are missing. I have a congenital absence of 5 secondary teeth too (+wisdoms absent) and the baby teeth stayed put as there was nothing to push them out IYSWIM. I'm sure I wasn't particularly careful with mine!!
If it's really wobbly it may mean the root is gone, is he under a dental hospital? Maybe they'd give him something temporary if the gap is near the front?

Sorry just realised they're the front two teeth. In the long term it may be better to have titanium implants to mount the teeth on, not sure what age they will do that...

Yes, he has had radiographs and the permanent teeth are absent.

I was also wondering whether he had damaged the root. I'll ring the dentist tomorrow. in the mean time, it seems that the tooth is still wobbly but a little bit firmer than yesterday so, fingers crossed!

The dentist mentioned about implants but I imagine that the will need first to make the space for them and it may be a few years before they are ready to do an implant. Happy to be proved wrong though...
