Can anyone help?!! Since having my ds 4 months i've had the most hurrendous periods. The week before i'm due on my head pounds for what seems like 24 hrs a day and i feel like the whole world is against me! my period also seems heavier and longer. i know this is probably 'normal' pmt but i'm sure it wasn't this bad before i haven't gone on the pill, don't know if this would make it better but i'm willing to try anything! i'm a walking hormone

My PMT got worse with each child (I'm Pg with no4 now so heaven help everyone)

Pmt got worse but periods got shorter and heavier.

Pre-chilren they were alot longer and ALOT more painful. I'd be crying inpain almost every month.

I have no pain now so it's the lesser of the 2 evils for me.

PMT is absolultey HORRENDOUS though. I am hell to live with.

I've found that since using a Mooncup instead of tampons, my periods are lighter.

I have noticed that since having DS my periods are longer (although not particularly heavier), more painful and PMT is worse. The pain has decreasd slightly over the last couple of years but definately still worse than before. I was recommended by GP to try Evening Primrose oil, although she said it would take a few months to make any difference.

i read about mooncup i the paper not so long ago, wonder how that makes them lighter?

Mine were horrifically heavy for about 6-9 months after ds3 but they calmed down again. I'd give it a bit of time - 4 months is not long.

i suppose i should be more patient!!! I just hate it, good job dh is fab and ignores my hormonal moments
