I'm having bowel prep today, is it going to be awful ?

All I really know is that I've got to drink something that will have a laxative effect.

Does anyone know how the stuff tastes and also how quickly it works ?

Still not had a huge explosion lol, just several little ones but I think it's as cleared out as it's gonna get.

I'm off to hospital soon so thanks to all in here, it was fab having people to talk to who'd been through it x

Sorry to hear about your buggered body. I've had a colostomy for a while. Come back and talk to me if you end up with one. It's fine, honestly. Obviously takes a while to get used to, and lots of emotion along the way but far less impact on your life that constant pain.

Just stopped the squittage. It's been exhausting...

The actual colonoscopy is a breeze compared to the prep!

Well, clean bill of botty health.

There was a tiny polyp which they removed and will send for biopsy but shouldn't be owt to worry about and they want to see me again in 5 years.
