Anyone had a CS overhang removed?

I've been meaning to go and see the GP for awhile about it and been putting it off. In the last year I have lost about two stone, I'm almost at the lowest weight I've been as an adult, I've gone from 18-20 to 14-16. I'm 5'9" and quite hippy and busty so not going to get much lower now. My overhang makes it very difficult to dress and I still have a few maternity jeans that I wear because other jeans aren't comfortable over it. I think I could lose about 10" from getting rid of it based on measurements above and below.

So, has anyone had it done? How much weight did you lose with it? How easy was it to get it done? Um... anything else to add?

I'm in a similarly position. Went to see GP and was essential told to sod off. As it isn't affecting my health they won't do anything. So I'm currently saving up for a tummy tuck. That won't be for 3 years yet though, but feel free to ask me again in September 2017!

Think it's got to be a crap section or massively affecting mental health to get it on nhs.

My dd2 scar was awful and GP thought I'd get through but dd3 section sorted it.

I have quite a deep valley in mine I can sink my fingers in to my first knuckle. It's not so much the scar itself which looks quite tidy but the fact it has this deep valley and overhangs so much. I know they can do things at subsequent caesareans but my last one was 5.5 years ago and after 4 children I have no intention of having any more Grin

I've got a disability that affects my mobility so even if it was possible to exercise it off I wouldn't be able to. I can't wear normal clothes because of it.

I don't want to sound like the voice of shitiness but mine is exactly the same. Deep valley in the middle and hangs over by about 4 inches, even worse now I've lost weight.

All you can do is ask your GP, but clothes not fitting properly isn't really a medical concern. I'm a 14 on top and a 16 across the hips but often need an 18-20 to accommodate it. It's shit, but I've just got to live with it until I can afford to do something about it.

That's cool, wasn't trying to compare Smile

I know people have had it done so it does depend on your doctor. I've been reading a few stories by doing a Google search.
