Sinusitis: has anyone had FESS op?

ENT suggesting it if this bout doesn't clear up, just wondering what others experience of the op was and whether it worked?

Haunted, that's exactly how I feel. Sometimes I think I'm better but then it flares up again, like today. Crashing head, exhausted, no appetite, aching upper arms, ringing in ears. It's horrible.

I've had 3 x blood tests and all normal by the way.

Thank you both that is really helpful. We are fairly convinced now that it is sinus related. The process of diagnosis has gone down so many blind alleys so fingers crossed. He's thought it was sinus related from the off but the GP was obsessed with other ideas!

I know this is a few years old but what happened?
