I've been away on holiday, and whilst there hurt my knee, after been up all night last night crying with pain i went to casualty, the doctor said he THINKS its bruised and basically sent me on my way without any advice on aftercare etc, I cannot walk at all without hanging onto something and i'm in pain constantly.

I've got an interview tomorrow for a job that I really really want and fear that seeing me unable to walk properly may put them off, does anyone have any advice on how i might be able to make it easier, and hopefully get a decent nights sleep.

I'm no expert and can't give a medical opinion but assuming they've seen and examined you to rule out fracture etc at the hospital then I'd probably load myself up with painkillers and rest with my leg up. An ice pack probably would help if its swollen. Wouldn't worry about the job, just say you've hurt your leg
If its no better in a couple of days maybe head back to hospital for a review?

Go to A&E now

ham it up if necessary - get your dh to carry you

get an x-ray

DEMAND CRUTCHES so you don't look an idiot at your interview

why are they interviewing you on a bank holiday monday?
