Sorry I haven't got any experience of M.E but bumping for you.

no personal experience of ME but feel for you dreadfully. Being a lone parent is hard enough when you are in perfect health.

CountessDracula · 14/08/2006 23:25

Oh goodness you poor thing. My step sister has ME and her husband does almost everything, I can't imagine how you can cope on your own.

I have an inkling of how you must feel as I had glandular fever when dd was 1, was out of action for 8 months with post viral fatigue, but I had dh to support me.

Have you contacted surestart?

purpleperson · 14/08/2006 23:48

Thank you everybody!! I hadn't thought about surestart, will look into it-not sure if in right area, but they might have other advice...I'm glad to have found somewhere i can grumble and people actually pay attention!!

HI, I am not doing things solo but I do have M.E.
All I can suggest is to get as much of a support network around you as possible. Keep looking for different ways to improve your M.E. as different things seem to help different people. I think it is wonderful that you are coping as it can be difficult enough with a supportive DH!

big hugs to the purple person.

Anything practical I can do, just ask!
