Cerazette - I want a pill where I have lighter periods immediately not in 3 months!

I get heavy periods monthly with clots probably due to a thickened endometrium. The biopsy came back clear and then I had a mirena coil inserted. On it I bled constantly, became anemic with my hair falling out which hasn't fully recovered even after removal.
Since being contraceptive free for nine months I've decided to have one more bash on the pill. My GP has given me a prescription for Cerazette but after doing a search on mumsnet reading previous reviews it's starting to look like constant bleeding for the first few months is a common theme and there is just no way I can be doing this again as I'm on iron and barely fuctioning how it is.
Does anyone have any experiences with pills that more or less promote less bleeding from the get go? I'm just so fed up Sad

I have been in cerazette for about 8 years and have never had a period on that time. It works for me. It is a miracle. I could not have continued with the heavy periods I had before. This has saved my life. One little white pill every morning. No side effects. Nothing.

Give it a go. Everyone reacts differently but you don't know if you don't try.

I took lostrin 20, back to back, no bleeding whatsoever.

good luck idotry, I hope the cerazette helps. If it doesn't, then ask about the combined pill - there may be a good reason - raised bp/family history/age/smoking why they aren't offering that due to increase risk of clots, but am surprised that you wouldn't know why it wasn't being suggested.

Another positive for Cerazette! Though I take Aizea I was told by my doc they have exactly the same ingredients.

Maybe 2 weeks light bleeding at the start and nothing since - it's been 3 months.

Lovely clear skin and no negative effects on my mood, weight or hair. I have a friend who also swears by this pill.

I e been taking Cerazette (well, a cheaper version with the same active ingeedient) for 7 weeks, my period was ok, not painful as opposed to before (that's the reason I started taking it), but then after my period I spotted for 4 days, then had another horrendously heavy period of 5 days, heavier than I've ever had before.

I'll carry on for one more month, but if it continues like that I will ask to try a different pop.
