A girl at my childminders has got worms - are they catching and what should I look out for?

Yes they are catching, symptoms are itchy bottom /genital area, worms visible in poo , itching tends to be worse at night. Keep fingernails very short, make sure hands are washed thoroughly before eating/after loo etc, if you think your child has worms then you can buy treatment over the counter.HTH

I would say not Elf (although I am no expert!). If the infected child touches/plays with your DD there appears to be a risk(?)
