Im very bloated atm. my bras pinching me.

I eat very healthy, no snacking, only the occasional drinky poos, drink lots of water (although water bloats me but were supposed to drink it aren't we?).

I can only do limited exercise as I have physical disabilities, but, eg-I pull myself by the arms up the stairs on handrails on both sides yet still have bingo wings.

Thighs are massive as is muffin top. my figure is literally like jabba the hut.

Ive gone for thyroid test. nope not that. diabeties? nope. ive cut out carbs/gluten/ etc for a month or so each experiment and its nothing there.

people bang on about obesity but sometimes it really cant be helped can it? my gran was the same, ive turned into her, she used to snack on lettuce leaves, she was so healthy, she lived in a hot climate and swam vigourously every day, yet she was always fat.

I cant afford plastic surgery, I wish I could, its awful for my condence (of which I have none anyway) and no its not due to peer pressure either.

anyone else like this? no matter what you do/eat it never goes?

Tess that's more or less what I eat each day.

white meat, fish, small jacket potato with a few baked beans type thing.

skimmed milk, never fizzy drinks ,boil/grill/stir fry.

I still eat and drink the things the dietician gave me polus an eating plan from mags/online etc.

What are the gluten free and dairy free products you bought?

LetZygonsbeZygons · 27/02/2014 17:47

bread/pasta and a packet of biscuits as I hardly ever enjoy the 'normal' ones as they bloat me!

I just wish these products were cheaper. they tell us to eat healthier or whatever then put the prices up! want to try lacto products but theyre 3 times the price of everything else!

bought some mint tea and detox tea from the health shop too, woman said that's good for easing bloating.

But those are carbs - so you're not going be eating more or less what Tess suggested each day.

MFP is great - some real shockers on there in terms of hidden calories and it's really good for reevaluating portion sizes

LetZygonsbeZygons · 27/02/2014 17:55

Not I hardly ever eat bread/pasta/biscuits. very very rare I eat those carbs.

got docs next week. im TOO bloated, I look like im going to explode. I do have probs with my time of month so it may be something to do with that.
may be IBS or something, also a very stressful time atm so may be that too.

I second what's been said about mfp. I ate exactly like op before I discovered it. Turned out I was eating the right food just far too much of it. Portion size was definitely my problem.

Cocolepew · 27/02/2014 18:04

Just be careful with GF biscuits, they are stuffed with sugar. I find then too sweet to eat.

LetZygonsbeZygons · 27/02/2014 18:04

Sorry, I know youre all trying to help but I feel Im being given the 3rd degree!

I ate healthy things today, as I do every day. I will be asking the doc to see if I can take an allergy test or something. must be either something Im eating, but maybe its not as its only recently ive become so bloated. I haven't eaten anything different or new, but Im trying different avenues myself while I wait to see the doctor.

Thanks for you help anyway. Thanks

You mention Lactofree products. My girls have lacto free milk and cheese because they are lactose intolerant. DD1 suffered from lots of tummy aches, DD2 was sick (small amounts but more than a baby posseting) and always had loose bowels. As soon as we swapped DD2's milk the vomiting stopped immediately. Likewise swapping DD1 really reduced the tummy aches.

Unless you are lactose intolerant there will be no benefit in using these products. The milk is regular milk (FF/SS/skimmed) treated with an enzyme to convert the lactose into something that can be tolerated if you are lactose intolerant
