Help 5yo started bedwettin...any more ideas??

DS be 5 nxt mth has been dry nite for 18mths or so, though now most nites having accidents 1/2 times. Doing all the txt bk stuff (stickers, less drink, gettin him up to use loo, reassurin him) he is a happy healthy lad says he's no worries. We're at a loss???????????

hAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT TAKING HIM FOR A TRIP TO THE DOCS TO CHECK FOR AN INFECTION?

my SD was still wetting the bed till she turned 6 (a year ago). I looked up on it and it advsd that if she still wetting the bed by the time she is 7 - there maybe a problem so a trip to the docs.

Thanks its good to know we're not alone. Just crossing our fingers that it is just a 'stage'. He's pretty well settled at school, so i'm not sure it would be that, but child minds are a wonder.

Make sure he drink loads during the day

After 4 pm try to only have clear light liquids (water, apple juice or lemon barley water - not OJ ribena or fizzy)

Check there is mothing scary on the landing or bedroom that is subconciously stopping him getting up to go. DS has a thing about the loft hatch being open.

Seems all I had to was this post, We've had 2 dry nights!!! Thanks for suggestions. We have changed which light we leave on over night we leave on whether that casts different shadows I'm not sure?? Somethin to try cat64
