Poor them.

There was another thread about a wonder cream that can help with a whole load of things including chickenpop's

Are you using Benadryl? Wonderful stuff. Also, pop them in the garden and let the sun dry the spots up. Worked wonders for mine.

Thanks have let them out on the trampoline this morning for a bit. was going to go buy piriton syrup for them too- do you know if this can be bought on the shelf or over the counter? was planning on nipping to asda but they dont have a pharmacy as such just off the shelf stuff.

I have to collect my MIL from hospital in an hour too, with the kids in toe not sure how I am going to do this one

when ds had the chickenpox I bathed him with bicarb of soda in his bath - and it worked a treat, he hardly scratched himeself at all. Hope they are ok x

Hiya, I posted about the Wonder Lotion, you can get it free from your g.p.

My eldest son came out in chickenpox two weeks ago yesterday, and my poor little ds2 started with it on Friday. He's been really poorly though and doesn't look even a bit cute. He has a very, very red raw bottom too. Piriton, combined with Ibuprofen and Calpol has brought his temperature right down and Eurax lotion/cream on his spots have prevented him itching completely. Hope your little ones get well soon (and mine too!)

By the way, my ds (2 years and 2 months) calls his spots, "diddypops"!
