Won't people just buy it for themselves though? It's not teh VAT that's the (only) issue, it's teh sodding price of the stuff anyway. I just use cheaper stuff, doesn't have to be for kids.

CarolinaMoose · 25/07/2006 15:58

I tried using adult suncream on ds (accidentally, not out of meanness ) and it brought him out in a rash, so I'm only putting kids stuff on him now.

Tbh, prob all high-factor cream should be VAT-free but this is a good start.

Agree re the pricing - you can tell how over-inflated the prices are by the fact that they can do BOGOFs on it all summer...

Tinker · 25/07/2006 16:05

In fact, it's just a big PR stunt by Superdrug. Have just read it properly. They're not cutting the VAT off at all. They're just lowering the price by 17.5%...which they could do all teh time. Pah! Cynical? Moi?
