Pins and needles two years after chemo?

I had BEP chemo in October 2011 and had some pins and needles for a while after which went away.

I'm now getting it again: I got it for a week a month ago and then again this week. My oncologist says that it's unlikely to be chemo related since it went away, but the neurologist I've also seen thinks that it is related.

The tingling is in my fingers and feet. I have two small children and work as a personal trainer so am very very active, which makes me wonder whether I've just tweaked something and trapped a nerve.

The neurologist ran an EMG which came back as normal (so no nerve damage), although she maintained that it was chemo related.
My doctor also ran a whole load of bloods which all came back normal. I'm taking a postnatal multivit (am BF my 10m old) so think I'm covered in terms of vitamins etc.

I had a drug-free delivery 10m ago so it's not epidural related. Am otherwise in excellent health: no loss of balance, weight gain etc.

Any ideas? Can chemo nerve problems resurrect themselves? Or is it more likely I've over-trained or pulled something??

As it's affecting both your fingers and toes unlikely to be due toa trapped nerve etc. I expect your neurologist is right and it's a legacy from your chemo - the cisplatin in particular.

Thank you - didn't know that about a trapped nerve.

What a pain. Thought I'd got away with it..
