wasp sting! what eases the pain

hi all

toddler son just stood on a wasp, not a bumble bee, took sting out, very swollen foot poor boy.any ideas what to put on it please

Diluted ammonia works very well on a poultice--if you put in on without diluting it will burn his skin though. Good luck.

Make a thick bicarb of soda paste, just slap it on. May be hard to keep it on a foot though- perhaps use sunchowder's idea instead.

Wash the area and apply an ice pack. Maybe useful to give piriton. AHH hope he's ok

thanks girls! neighbour gave me some bicarb soda, slapped it on and put a sock over the top,hes not a happy bunny though

I had to use malt vinegar when i got stung for the first time a couple of yrs ago, i was amazed at how painful it was and how much i smelt like a fish shop.
