Water flossing equipment... your recommendations?

DH's gums are bleeding and the hygienist is insisting on more flossing but as a result of a childhood spent at boarding schools and overseas (during the dark ages before anyone in the UK had braces) his lower teeth are, umm, rather snaggly. Would one of the water flossing systems be a good idea, and if so, can anyone suggest what to get?

I used to have a waterpik. It was ok but I kept forgetting to use it. It was much easier than normal flossing though. My tip is to use warmish water not cold if you have sensitive teeth.

Thank you shower. Will remember to say that to DH that if I get one, which won't be this week!

I love my Waterpik it's this one.

Takes a bit of practice, and YY to warm water. It is so satisfying, blasting anything out and seeing it in the sink.

I bought DD2 a Waterpik (as recommended on here) when she got her braces a couple of months ago, and its been great. It did take her a week or so to work out how to not dribble all down her front though Wink. And yes to warm water, not cold.

It has 4 different nozzly bits, one is a brace cleaner.

Another thing I have tried is those tiny interdental brushes. They look like miniture bottle brushes and come in different sizes. I could get a really fine one for my close together teeth. I prefered these myself to the waterpik But i think the waterpik may do a better job.

Those little brushes are really good reviving, I think it depends on the gaps you need to get into. I have some gaps I can't get the brushes in and they bend. Grin

Thank you for all your inputs. Sending flowers (but too much of a Luddite to know how it's done!!)
