Pain Clinics - BMI London Independent or Highgate hospital? Any experiences or thoughts to share please?

I've been given the choice of these two, or my local hospital's pain clinic, which I've been told is pretty poor, to visit for help with my PGP/SPD.

Was wondering if anyone had visited either of these and could offer some thoughts on the services provided please?

Sorry, no experience of either but you could get an NHS referral to The UCLH integrated pain service in Queen Square. I have had injections and just yesterday a lidocaine infusion. They also offer acupuncture and a Pain Management Course. Because I'm in SW London I did the course at my local hospital (which I highly recommend btw) and have anything more invasive in London. Having injections there is better because they are done using CT guidance whereas local hosp relies on X-rays.

So as you see, I'm using both services according to my needs and preferences. Hope that helps.

Yes, you can ask your GP to refer you anywhere you like. I live miles from uclh. The thing I particularly like is that they are linked to the Hospital for Integrated Medicine (formerly the National/ Royal(? Can't remember which) Homeopathic Hospital and do offer a real range of approaches.

Sorry, you might have meant can I ask for other opinions in which case I'll shut up...
