hi guys I know this should be a happy time of year but my health is getting worse and worse and i'm finding it so hard to cope.
I have a severely underactive thyroid, hashimotos thyroiditis, serious vitamin d deficiency.
my whole body hurts could potentially be osteoporosis, I am waiting for auto immune bloods to come back so the doc can decide whether to refer me to a rheumatologist.
I'm 33 and feel 73, I've started getting pains when I eat and my epigastric pain is getting worse (had my gall bladder removed so not that)
sorry it's long winded but there must be others out there like this how do I cope, fed up with bloody being dosed to the eyeballs!!Sad

Ah dear, sorry to hear you are feeling so bad. I have hashis too, plus on HRT and have coeliac disease so have to eat gluten free - worth considering that if you are getting stomach problems?

I mainly find it hard to cope with work due to fatigue and memory problems.

I also had low vit d at start of year but it is apparently OK now, did take some tablets and got outside as much as I could.

How do I cope? Well sometimes I don't... Mainly I get to bed early, sleep as much as I can, eat well, limit alcohol and tea in the evenings. I try to pace myself, only plan to do one thing a day. Do less housework and less of well just everything.

And I am also still trying to get answers to my muscle/nerve issues and leg pain though doc tells me I'm depressed, well wouldn't you be? It's 'depressing' to not be able to do things you want but it doesn't mean you have depression....

Please update if you get referred to rheumatology, the worst thing for me is when they say blood tests are 'normal'! Just means I'm further away than ever from finding out what's wrong. Hope you get some answers and relief soon.
