Blikni' heck. Went to see GP about a lump in my neck that I have had for 4 weeks with no symptoms of infection etc. I was a bit concerned that I might have something suspicious going on (hypochodriac) however he thinks I might have a carotid aneurysm and is referring me to vascular surgeon! Bloody hell

Might be nothing though.......

Oh god yes, waiting and wondering is awful. Hope it's soon - do they know about Malawi & jabs? - and hope it's harmless

Got a scan today - nothing wrong with artery. No suspicaious lump seen. No idea why it is prominent just now. Don't know why it is sore but hey ho, it's fine. I am very relieved

I have had a lump in my neck for about a month, I went to the hospital this morning on a recommendation from my doctor, I was told that's it nothing to worry about, it's basically arteries interlocking and it's caused by me being right handed, the lump is on the right side of my neck and its years of muscle usage, I am a decorator so it makes some sense, it's also where the pulse is in the neck, apparently now it's there it's never going away, but it's not serious, thankfully, anybody else heard about this diagnosis.
