I’ve noticed recently that while at the gym I’ve been leaking urine :(, can anyone tell me what pads I should buy or where I should go for advice? Thanks

Go & see your GP & ask to see an incontinence nurse or physio

Thanks ladies- I'm not sure if the leaking's bad enough to go to the doctors...does anyone know what the best pads are to buy? I think there's different types of absorbencies as well- do you know what type is best?

Any leaking is bad enough to go to the GP imo

Unless you drink 3 pints & go on a trampoline - then you get what you deserve Wink otherwise to see someone please

Are you aware of the bladder wanting to 'go' or not?
It is drips, squirts or gushes?

I had a phase of split second message and then it would gush, but usually at home running the water into the kettle. Never happened when I was out, thank goodness. And without the bladder being full.

I was put on tablets called Oxybutynin and it stopped immediately. At first my bladder wouldn't open until I told it it could and I had to completely relax.

Took them for a several months and then stopped, and the problem has gone.
Your problem may be different from mine though.

Thanks Digerd- I'd describe as little gushes :(. As advised by others too, it's probably best for me to go and see the doctor about it.

In the meantime as a short term measure I'll buy some pads-ilovesprouts suggested Morrisons. Is there a particular type you'd recommend? Or did you not need them because the medication was so effective?

Go to the gp and get referred to a continence nurse.
It doesn't really matter what pad you use, but use incontinence ones, not sanitary towels or pant liners. Tena and Always Elvive come in difference sizes some are the same size as a pant liner.

OP. I used Bodyform Maxi Dry Goodnights, but they have been discontinued. . The ultra goodnights are far too thin.
My problem was an electrical wiring confusion from the brain to the bladder/bladder to brain. Cause unknown. Could have been stress, but the tablets sorted it out immediately for me.

I didn't like the look or feel of the Tena Lady I bought so didn't use them.
Good luck

Elvive are good, and I have used/use them. I'm on oxybutinin and it is very effective. What was also immediately effective was quitting caffeine completely. If I have a can of coke now, I end up leaky for around 5 days after. Go and see the GP as it's not something that you have to put up with.
