Hi for the past week I have had pain in my forearms but on the underneath, weakness in my hands which feels like I cant grip. This goes to my elbows which at the the moment are painful and have been waking me up at night. Any suggestions please?

I don't know how old you are, would guess something like carpal tunnel syndrome, but I'm not a doctor. Best to go to your GP and describe these symptoms, s/he can see what it is for sure. Sooner you go, the sooner you can talk about treatment.

I agree. some kind of repetitive strain injury sounds likely. Do you have an ipad? Only I notice when I play with mine too much I get problems similar to yours. Trying to make a conscious effort to look at positioning etc.

Lifting a toddler with your hands under their arms or a well nourished baby for that matter especially with an L shape between thumb and rest of your fingers can put terrific strain on your wrists and forearms. Can you lift them by keeping palms and fingers fllat against their middle so the DCs are secure but not making that L shape?

Walking a boisterous dog that pulls excitedly.

Plus all the day to day domestic lifting of stuff you probably don't notice you do.

If you work outside the home, you may need to discuss with your employer any wrist support when using a keyboard or any regular shifting of packages or goods.

Perhaps wearing a splint will help but worth getting checked.

Boots usually have a kind of wrist brace on sale but first things first get GP to identify what the problem is, it might be something else.
S/he will advise you what you can do.
