Tooth ache, possible abscess and can't get to the dentist until Monday.

Help, I'm in a lot of pain, have taken paracetamol and ibuprofen and still in a lot of pain. I'm meant to be taking dad for a big day out tomorrow ( got tickets booked to see a show ) so can't go to the emergency dentist until Monday. How can I get through tomorrow without being in too much pain?, I have some antibiotics in the house and have taken one ( I know I shouldn't take anything until its been looked at but I need to be ok tomorrow and if it stops me from waking up with a huge puffy face it has tone worth a shot ), is there anything else I can do or take?

Digerd, that's what's known as a granuloma, abscesses don't have true membranes so can't be removed in one piece.

Antibiotics are very rarely the correct treatment for dental problems. They can manage the symptoms but until the tooth is either treated (root canal treatment) or extracted, the issue will grumble on. It's up to you which (if any treatment) they do.

Dentist has referred me to hospital for 4 extractions but has advised I go back and have the one that's causing trouble out next week, swelling is still there but dentist thinks it will go down a bit more even though my antibiotics run out today.
