That's it, really. I never feel really well. My brain is in a fog and I feel like I'm constantly fighting off a cold. They don't develop into colds, so that might be partly true. But all the time?!
I'm not unwell, I just always feel kind of blah.

I don't drink a lot, don't have any health issues I know about, but am exhausted. Whyyyyyyy?

Go to your gp and ask for routine blood tests- explain exactly what you have here, that you never feel 'right' and always have a general feeling of not being 100%, and get them to test you for things that might be bringing you down. It may be something that is easily treatable like a deficiency, anaemia, problem with thyroid etc.

What is your general diet like? Do you take any supplements, drink enough water etc? Do you get enough sleep? All of these things can add up to feeling like crap, even if it doesn't seem obvious at first.

I hope that you feel better soon- being constantly out of sorts absolutely sucks, hopefully it will be fixable for you Smile

Try to get your Vitamin D3 levels tested - this is primarily obtained by the action of sunlight on the skin, so many people in wet, rainy Britain are deficient in it, which can cause many symptoms such as depression, aching joints etc.

Sufficient levels of Vitamin D3 are vital for the proper functioning of your immune system.

Your GP can test this for you.

Thanks, am probably not hydrated enough and everything else would just be a guess. It is cold season, so it makes sense that I'm fighting off viruses, and at least they aren't developing into full-blown colds: I usually have a great immune system (am lucky) but this year am so exhausted with it.
I'll go and bother my gp.
