for the past few days (or nights really) her daughter is saying she has "sparkles" in her legs

she is unhappy about walking in the morning when its time to get up

she says its not sore, just "sparkles all the way up"

she is 4 and a half

Hi, my DD has dyspraxia, she also has hypermobility. She hasn't complained of this before, though sometimes she does get joint pain which I think is more down to the hypermobility. Dyspraxia affects the motor skills and I'm not sure that this would be linked to that. I think it might be an idea to have a quick word with her GP.

albatros · 28/06/2006 16:53

Agree it would be unusual to have it every morning for two weeks I'll stand aside and let someone with more knowledge than me help advise you

nailpolish · 28/06/2006 16:55

umm, i dont know if she has hypermobility

my neighbour has gone home now to get the dinner on, but i think she is going to make an appt with the gp
tomorrow

I'm surprised she's been diagnosed as dyspraxic so young, unless she has another physical problem which has been monitored, but suspect this is completely unrelated. ds has dyspraxic traits but has never described such apart from on the odd occasion of pins and needles. A 4 1/2 yr old might find it hard to express exactly what is wrong tbh.

thanks lizs, ill pass it on

prob is unrelated
