osteoarthritis/osteoporosis link?

Hi all
Just that really.been told i have oa in my hands after having carpal tunnel op&gotta go in for physio on them
Im getting same pains in elbows esp left one&in left knee.so im womdering if i should tell them this when o go in
Also my mums suffers with oa too&has osteoporosis so am wonderinf if tje two are linked&if i ahould ask for the scans to see if i have it or am at risk of getting it
Im46&poss premenopausal as am havong various tests done at mo

You don't have to do sport to benefit from it. They sell a lot to people with arthritis and gout as well.

Well i use lloyds cream at the mo plus pain killers which seem to be doing the trick mostly.
Think i will stick to that til ive seen the physio in nov&go from there
Does anyone know if you can take cod liver oil tabs ir similar with multibionta vitality tabs?i nrly bought some cod liver tabs yest but theyve got vit d in them so has the multibiontas so didnt want to be taking too much.anyone know if its ok to?

Sorry didn't notice this. I am on prescription multi fits with 200% of daily recommended for most stuff as I have malabsorption in my bowels! and pharmacist said I was ok to take cod liver oil too

Thats ok then will buy some nxt time im shopping!lol
