Blood test results

I need to start off by stating that I live in France. Although I have an adequate 'bonjouring' grasp of French, I struggle with any techinical or medical terms.
For the past 3 months or so I have felt unwell. Extreme tiredness, overwhelming at times. This is very unlike me, as I am normally full of beans. Also, constant cough, although I confess I smoked until 8 months ago. I suffer from asthma and have been very reliant on puffers of late. So, I went to the doc and blood tests were ordered.
In France, one collects the results and hands them on to the GP. So, with Google as my 'friend' I have explored the implications of my results. This has scared me! I will call my Doctor tomorrow, but in preparation, if any one could kindly give me some pointers I would be so grateful.
The test highlights a few 'problem' areas.
Firstly (in French TCMH) which I believe is (Mean Corpuscular hemoglobin) MCH in English is 33.40%. The 'normal' range is shown as 27 - 32%
Then in the white blood cells analysis it shows Polynucleaires neutrophileds as 33.2% (1,560/mm3). This I believe is low as normally 40-60% and according to the range indicated should be between 1,800 and 7,500/mm3
and
Polynucleaires eosinophiles as 17.1% (Google says should be 1-4%) and 804/mm3
I had a blood test done in April 2011 and the GP wrote on it 'Bon resultes' but having scared myself with the above I have looked at it again and I see I had 'abnormal' results in the same 3 areas then?
I appreciate that only my GP can give specific advice, but as she only speaks French with very limited English and I am vice versa, what should I be asking or concerned about, if anything?
Thank you for your help

Hi to France from UK - but lived Germany for many years

Just looked up my german blood test book and as I thought, a low MCH means anaemia . but the german refence is 27-34 picogramms.

Low white blood count suggests bone marrow damage, virus infection or an immune deficiency.

I have forgotten my 5 years of school french. Can you not take a french/english speaking friend with you to the drs?

Good luck
