I just wondered if anyone has any good tips for helping with hayfever. I take the usual antihistamines but I am really suffering this year. Any advice and experience will be much appreciated :)

I've heard lots of good things about how eating locally-produced honey can help. Something to do with it containing similar pollen to that which is causing the problem. Or if you can't find local honey, ordinary supermarket stuff might be worth trying. I just found this article: www.twickenham-bees.org.uk/Honey%20and%20Hay-fever.html
(I use Xylometazoline nasal spray (eg Otrivine) when I get a bunged up nose, Boots own-brand is cheapest + good, but be careful to read the leaflet with it - I can't use it for very long before I start to be uncomfortable without it)

Thanks llwyn, will definitely try the spray and honey. :-)
