Help! Tips needed to get kids to drink more water?

I need to get my 5 year old to drink more water. She was brilliant until she started at school and now takes a sip and says she has had enough. I've tried threats and rewards but to little success. She has a packed lunch and I've even started mixing a bottle of water with a little cranberry juice (which she normally likes) but there's only about a qtr gone when she comes home. They do have coolers in class but aren't encouraged to drink from them enough in my opinion. I've asked her teacher to remind her to drink more water but they are tiny cardboard cups and I'm not sure she does it very often. She's someone who sweats alot in hot weathe and I'm sure she's dehydrated.
Any tips please?

mine would never drink water until i started buying the small bottled waters. also helped mind you that the kiddies new primary school actively encourage them to only have water and supply water bottles in the classroom for them to top up their own bottles from (the huge water bottles that you find in offices).

mine still love to have squash and apple juice too, but they will finally drink water which I am thrilled with. Mind you, I never would have had a problem had I started them on water in the first place, but hey hoBlush!

Ice poles after school for fluid....or make a fuss about having ice cubes in her drink...very posh/fancy grown up. Get some straws, they drink more with straws.
My kids dont drink much at school either BTW.

My 5yo ds also doesn't drink enough IMO, especially in this hot weather. I try to make sure that he has plenty of water in the mornings, while we're still at home, and always bring a bottle with me when collecting him. Then I'm always giving him half-cups of water throughout the evening. If he won't drink when left to his own devices, then it's up to me to make sure that he does drink when I'm around.

Get a fridge with an ice and water dispenser!

I am really lucky cos my 4yo ds is pretty good with water, he started with the carbonated stuff which I know isnt the same but it seemed to make it easier to start with then we moved onto the plain stuff and now he drinks it with no problem and if he asks for lemonade now...he gets fizzy water lol
