My dd always sweat at night, only the first half an hour and on the forehead only. She only wears a vest and knickers in bed and is completely fine. Anyone children sweat at night?

I have the most sweaty children ever, their pillows are always soaking.

They always have wet hair when they get hot and will be the two at a party with soaking hair.

my son sweats so much in the night, he doesn't wear anythink to bed even in the winter

DS does although it's not helped by him insisting on wearing long sleeve pjs and then wrapping himself up like a caterpillar in his duvet. I tried to unwrap him last night, I got a filthy look and a harumph as he wrapped himself up again

Dd sweats all night. She doesn't have a blanket on, but her shortie pj's and pillow are always soaked by morning. She sweats buckets in her car seat, even in winter, but she's completely sweat free the rest if the time.

How old are your dc btw? Dd is 3.2.

Yes, my little boy sweats when sleeping. Unfortunately he likes wearing pyjamas so that doesn't help. He is always the sweaty one at the party or soft play too.

DH sweats like a pig too - I have to wash our sheets several times a week in this weather and the pillows are ruined despite pillow protectors. My friend makes her DH sleep on a towel - I am considering it.

My 4yo DD is a very sweaty kid - likes to snuggle under a blanket too much. She is also the luminous red, hair plastered to head kid in soft play/the park...

yes indeed. my four year old DS sweats ALL the time. He's always hot. In hot weather he always look sunburnt and I can see people tutting at me. Night is the worst though. The last few weeks within an hour of falling asleep, his pillow is drenched, his hair is like he's been in the shower. He now just wears a pair of pants in bed and he's rarely under covers. He's just nasty and sweaty. I already feel sorry for any future girlfriends.

11y DD has always been a hot child. She still is. Often ends up stripping down to just pants and a sheet in the summer. Even then she is hot and sweaty. Her normal duvet is only about 4 tog at most, even during the winter.

She doesn't help herself though as the bed is full of cuddly toys!

Apparently silk duvets and pillows are supposed to be good.

It is nice to hear about other sweaty children! My toddler is sleepping in just a happy at the moment, but still wakes up with sweaty hair. I think she is just hot blooded - she pretty much bounced into her paddling pool today, though the water was really quite cold, the lid having been on - I was wincing as I lowered myself in! She was hot even as a newborn, though - I could never understand how the other mind had their babies in vests, sleepsuits, hats etc, while she was hot in just a romper.
