could this be hayfever, any hayfever experts about?????

for the past 2 days i have felt like i have got flu, very runny nose, achcing body, sore throat, i havent got runny itchy eyes which i thought you got with hayfever, I have never suffered from hayfever before...

Does this sound like hayfever? i cant afford to go and buy any medication unless i need to?

What is the best thing to buy, i notice there are a few BOGOF offers on the boots website for hayfever stuff,

Can the Doctor prescribe anything, rather than me spending a fortune?

this is exactly how I have felt, on tuesday I thought I was dying with flu.

i do get hayfever but never this bad, I dont have runny eyes just sneezing all the time, blocked nose, itchy ears.

gonna have to get new stuff because the stuff i normally take isnt working this year

so yes i think it probably is hayfever

Could be, as all sufferers have diff symptoms.

Usually I have terrible eyes but have been fine this year. Still streaming nose thpough.

I have used Piriton the most, also Beconase and a friend has recommended Wilkinsons One a day tablets.

the doc will prescribe you something which should work out cheaper if s/he prescribes a couple of months worth

I got eye drops and tablets for hayfever on prescription from my gp.As im on income support i get them free.

Splashing face / eyes with cold water helps me and is cost effective. Smile. You could always discuss with doc to check it's nothing else, and then decide from there ?

thanks, i get working family tax credit so also get prescriptions free, maybe i shall buy something from boots in the morning, then make appointment for gp, as i doubt they would see me tomorrow, unless it was a genuine
emergency!

i use a nasl spray (buesoneside or soemthing) and benadryl tablets which are usually great but not having and of it this week Sad
get your gp to prescribe for a few months then you will only have to pay once
