Is it worth making a GP appointment for this...?

On about 4 or 5 weeks ago I noticed a small rash on the corner of my right eye...it was ithcy and red and a bit sore...and dry.
Now it is much better, but the area is darker than my skin and it is apparent that the corner of the right eye got something (a stain?) that the left eye haven't. I wanted to go to GP but was afraid to look silly as this could be a sign of me getting old? Crown's feet?
I am 36.

Another problem is my left arm. It feels heavier than the right arm, even when I am not doing absolutely nothing. Sometimes is a bit difficult to find a comfortable position while using the left arm, it seems that I have less "energy" on the left arm...I am right handed.

Should I go see the doctors or am I just getting old?

TIA

Is there a senior practice nurse or a nurse practitioner that you could see instead?

An early symptom of a frozen shoulder can be like how you describe your arm ,kind of numb and weak .

Dorange · 02/07/2013 22:18

Is not the shoulder, it is more from the elbow all the way to the hand...
and the skin close to my eye? any ideas? could it be beginning of skin cancer?
I can phone them and see if they would book me with a nurse instead, I just don't want to waste my time or theirs, if it is normal or nothing.

I have just read a few symptoms of skin cancer and it says any alteration on the skin should be reported to a doctor...I am making that appointment tomorrow.

Glad to see you are making the appt, if i'd seen this earlier I would have advised you to.

As to the "dead" arm, yes it could well be a frozen shoulder. It doesn't always affect the shoulder, so do mention it and hopefully you'll get some help

I've had 2 frozen shoulders and can currently feel another reoccurance .

Mine start with pain as you describe it from elbow down to hand .

Muscles ,ligaments etc are all joined up you know .
