A week before my period was due I would have one day where I was snappy with everyone but that was all. Normal length AF, all fine.

Lately I seem to have a low day or two about 10-14 days after my period and I ovulate.*

Little things that upset or unsettle me really take the whole day to snap out of.

I take Agnus Castus but find that if I miss one day it really affects me.

Can anyone recommend anything else I could try that wouldn't have such an instant result when I miss a dose?

  • after starting that sentence I checked my dates and thought it was sooner to my period finishing that I feel really low for a day but it makes more sense that it is around the time of ovulation though Confused as to why things are changing now.

I get a bit hormonal when I ovulate or around that time. Have a day when I feel down and a bit depressed.

Didn't used to but have just turned 40 and have heard after 40 things can get worse.

Get terrible PMT 10-12 days before my period which carries on til i come on Sad and also take Agnus Castus as well as Magnesium OK.

Don't drink alcohol anymore which does help and I am sure if I could manage to avoid chocolate I would probably feel better too but unfortunately this is impossible.

Thank you for your post. Sorry you are suffering too.

I am 41 so it sounds like it is normal for this to happen at this stage. I had no idea.

I take Starflower as I was getting breast pain. What would Magnesium do and would it be safe to take along with the Agnus Castus and Starflower?

I also don't drink but giving up chocolate would be so miserable.
