When I need to go it seems to be stuck, for want of a better word, just past my perineum. If i push on the outside it will come out. Does this sound like a bowel prolapse?
I did have a hysterectomy last year and the bowel moves down in the space created by the removal of the womb.

I'm not constipated or anything but it just stops and the end Confused. A wee push gets it out. Its like there is a 'dip' and it needs a push to help it out.

Stool softeners and pelvic floor exercises recommended in first instance. Then surgery if it is bad, (and it does not always solve the poo problem).

Second movicol and glycerine suppositories here.

It's not really to relieve constipation, it's so it is softer and comes out easier IYSWIM?

Get you. We have some lactulous in the house, I'll give it a go, thanks Smile

Mind you, pushing it might be more pleasant than lactulose. :o

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 28/04/2013 22:29

Lactulose isn't too bad. Like sugar syrup. Fybogel is far far far worse! All those little hard bits in liquid make me totally

cocolepew · 28/04/2013 22:31

Grapefruit juice is my 'keeping regular' drink of choice Grin
