Earplugs for dh's snoring - which ones are best

I'm wondering why on earth I didn't start using ear plugs sooner. Last two nights I've not woken up once and I actually feel completely knackered which probably shows how much sleep I was actually missing out on!

However, I'm waking up quite early (5ish) because my ears are a bit achy from the plugs. I'm using ones that you roll in your fingers to make thin and then put in your ear and they expand. It says they are made from soft foam.

Are there others that work as well but are a bit gentler?

I use the foam ones from boots, they come in a pack of 3. Your ears will soon get used to them, it just takes a few days

yes, those are the ones I've got. Oh good - I thought it might be a case of getting used to them! Thanks.

They're more comfortable than the foam ones and keep the sound out better. I sleep in them every night and wouldn't be without them. Good value too - you get 25 pairs for under £8.49

I use \link{http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1027212\Muffles} wax ones from Boots - they make you feel utterly deaf, I love them.

They say one in each ear and only use them once, but unless you have enormous lugholes you can divide them and put half in each ear, and you can use them 2 or 3 times before they start getting too hard to squidge well in.

The snore calm ones can be used for a couple of weeks before replacing. So 25 pairs will probably last you a whole year.

thanks

I think I'll try some of the ones you suggest to see which ones work best in my ears. I think I must have quite small lugholes because the foam ones are still creating a lot of pressure pain in my ear.
