I have been under quite a lot.of stress. We have just moved house which I didnt find that bad but I guess its bound to take its toll. I have a physically demanding job.
Im finding Im constantly tired. I put the kids to bed at 7.30/8 and I feel ready to go to bed myself. Some nights I have to.go to bed. I.literally can not stay awake any longer.
I dont get up until 7/7.30 most days which is more than enough sleep. Yet the next night its the same thing come 7/8 pm. Im in my mid twenties so Im not that old.
I had a blood test a while back which said I had low iron levels and vit D and I took iron for a while.
I have had 3 periods in the space of 2 months too. I have the implant in my arm so Im not sure if that is down to that and a separate issue. I feel fine in myself the rest of the time. I dont want to bother the Dr unnecessarily but its getting on my nerves now. Im a single parent and have things to do.in the evening once the kids are in bed....i would also like the time to myself as it feels as though all i.do.is work and do housework.

If you have had low iron and vitamin D levels in the past then the chances are you have them again. Get yourself some supplements and get those levels optimal. It will make such a difference to the way you feel.

It takes a while for iron levels to rebuild so it is likely to be an iron issue. Being anaemic can cause extreme fatigue. How long did you take the iron tablets for?

Did you take vitamin d supplements? You need a really high (prescription only) dose if your levels are very low and again it can take months for them to recover.

Don't worry about bothering the GP, it is not normal to feel that tired and it will cause you to feel more stressed, it is a vicious circle!

Vitamin B12 is also very good to get your energy levels back up.
