Anyone know what this is? My right eye doing something strange.

This is going to sound very odd but recently my right squints (enough for me to not really see anything out of it) unintentionally. The strange thing about it is I wont have noticed it, it normally takes someone asking me what I'm doing for me to realise. Last night I was sitting watching tv and my partner kept repeating 'what are you doing?' and it took me a while to even realise what he was talking about. Apparently it was flickering as well.

Does anyone know what this is or if its related to anything in particular? Its only a very recent thing.

Not sure but it's certainly worth getting it checked at the opticians or gp.

Not sure if I have the same problem but my eye twitches when I am tired. Not unusual and my doctor told me to take a magnesium supplement which stopped it overnight. Still does it if I forget to take the tablet so I assume it is working!

Could be a stress twitch - I get one - when I am tired and a bit overstretched, my eyelid flickers - only on my left eye, does it 4 or 5 times in a couple of hours, then stops til the next time.... maybe months, maybe hours...

Magnesium is taken to relax muscles including spasms, twitches and cramp.

When I'm tired, one eye tends to drift outwards (I assume by 'squint' you mean your eyes don't point in the same direction). Although both eyes work, my brain ignores the images from the 'drifted' eye, and it sometimes flicks. The optician gave me eye exercises years ago but they didn't help at all.

It's worth getting an eye checkup, to rule out any serious causes. One benefit is that I can see 'magic eye' pictures pretty much instantly!
